I have been struggling to name this piece. Until last year I had not really created anything abstract since college, so this has been a fun foray back to my roots. (for scale this piece is roughly A1)
Recently I have been moved by everything going on in the world and have been thinking about the circle of life/death/regeneration. I don't mean this in regards to a life after death but more in the context of the world regenerating after moments of destruction. My feelings towards this particular water colour are a little bit melancholic but also full of hope and joy. I would love to know what you think.

Over the last few months (years) I have been developing a sketch style that I really enjoy:This is Indian ink and Sepia and is part of a series that I am doing on Bees. For those of you that don't know sepia comes from octopuses. For more like this check out my drawings page
![]() I've had a few suggestions as to how I can improve my website. The most common request was for prices to be added (sounds encouraging). So what I've done is to include a price in the caption below the picture of any of the work that is for sale. If anyone does want to buy something I would advise you to come over and look at it in the flesh. I'm usually in and always enjoy an excuse for a cup of tea. So drop me an email or fill in the contact form and we'll try and work something out. I taught Art History to sixth form students and another suggestion was that I include an art history section/blog. But where to start? Any thoughts would be most welcome. Very excited to have the website up and running!
I will use this blog to post updates of what I am working on and any events that I have planned. Check back weekly or so for updates on what I am up to. |

I will endeavour to keep this section of the website up to date about my current goings on and work that I have in the pipeline.
